Robin Gunns FRW Not just another punk circle jerk! (Great review eh?) Killer instrumentations & musicianship a là Dead Kens., but with more blues and roots rock solidness. Who can't love a song called 'Jailbait?' This shit kills - R.G. Favorite track: Jailbait.

We shook the ground in a Northern town in the twentieth century We trod the sands of the promised land and it felt like victory…… The road went on forever, there were no rules left to break I didn’t see it couldn’t last, I took all I could take This is my story, disrespect me if you dare I’m not afraid to tell it anywhere Don’t fuck with me – I was there Where were you? Some of us were crawling, looking for a place to hide And some of us have fallen by that dark wayside No-one told me it was over, no-one said “you’ve had your share” And if they did, why should I care? Don’t fuck with me – I was there Easy when you’re beautiful, easy when you’re young Harder when you’re waitin’ for the breaks that never come I look at what I squandered and at times it’s hard to bear Whoever said life is fair? Don’t fuck with me – I was there Where were you? Shook the ground in a Northern town in the twentieth century We trod the sands of the promised land and it felt like victory Those dreams are broken now, they’re way beyond repair But I’ll remember, I swear Don’t fuck with me – I was there

Rescued from cassette tapes in shoeboxes and mouldering reel-to-reels in cellars and attics, followed by digital limbo... it's time for these adrenaline-fuelled, unpolished gems from 70's UK punk band The Accelerators to see the light of day. Individual writing credits are given where possible, but the songs are basically by everyone in the band.

The Accelerators line-up (for these tracks):

Chris Martin - Vocals, Harmonica
Kathy Apathy a.k.a Kathy Freeman - Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard
Tony Doyle - Bass
Martin Yarker - Lead Guitar
Brian Damage - Drums
